The Somerset College show was a big mix of styles and influences.

Kimberley Startup’s whimsical toy chest collection was wonderfully imaginative, from her xylophone corset to her spinning top skirt, her childlike print added to the endearing charm of it all.
I like something a little controversial and Victoria Griffiths designs had rather political undertones, as soon as the first model appeared carrying a picket sign saying ‘Up the Dole’ I knew it was going to be juicy. She used wool and worn denim to create durable workwear, it was a rebellious attack on the 80’s Thatcherite government, I say carry on sticking to the man!
My favourite collection of the show was Lisa Edward’s heritage collection, it was country house chic at it’s best, models wore tweed wide legged trousers, capes and luxurious satin blouses in rich shades of Burgundy and Green. Very Refined!
One more to go and that’s me done with, see you then!
