Easily one of the most creative collections I have sat in on in the last 2 days, I really struggled when deciding which to blog about. So I’ll start at the very beginning…

Sarah Benning’s was a fantastic exploration of the human form. Her prints depicted, in intricate detail, bone and muscle sinew, models appeared encased in intestines accompanied by a green, pastel pink and beige colour palette.
Fflur Owen’s was also particularly exciting. The silhouette was flowing and feminine, embellishment included bejewelled ram skulls and high heel clogs; I was most impressed by a model’s composure when supporting gargantuan bull horns on her head.

As the finale collection began the lights turned scarlet and smoke crept along the catwalk, the chorus of Gregorian chant was haunting. Models wore cardinal-like garb in black and red.
I could go on as Westminster’s show as a collective was amazing, but I’ve got the UCA Rochester show to get to. Instead, I'll leave you with extra images from the catwalk - it would be rude not to post them! Must dash..
