Last week we were honoured to win the 'Fabulous for cutting-edge fashion', Fabulous High Street Fashion Award - but we couldn't have done it with you, our friends, the Fabulous readers! Thank you.

Rihanna looked sensational in her vibrant floral and turquoise tulle Christian Dior Couture gown at the 2011 BRIT Awards. It was my favourite look from the red carpet as I love the colour combination.  Rihanna knows how to balance the contrast between her feminine dress and her edgy attitude. She added smoky eyes and bronze lippy to her look and kept her trademark red tresses sleek and straight.

Cheryl Cole looked fabulous in her black sequined Stella McCartney thigh-high side split dress. I love how her dress dazzled on the red carpet under the lights. She completed her look with a wavy up-do, cat eyes and nude Christian Louboutin.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor opted for a girlie strapless polka dot dress with a voluminous skirt.
I love the retro vibe I’m getting from this look which is very much Sophie’s style as she works it on the red carpet so well. Her black accessories keep this look modern and her hair keeps this look chic.

It’s time for the Company Fashion Awards again and this year River Island has been nominated in seven categories! We’re in the running for Best Footwear Under £150, Best Accessories, Best Bags, Best Online Shopping, Best Jeans Under £100, Best Place to Spend £150 and Best Fashion Retailer.



Last year we took home four awards but we want to do even better this year and in order to do this we need help from all of you lovely River Island fans.
